If you're having problems with your EyeRide's Voice Command, here are a few simple steps to check and activate the necessary settings.
1. Make sure that the voice assistant is activated on your phone
You will find the procedure below:
On Android:
- Open the Google Assistant application on your Android phone or tablet.
- If the Google Assistant is deactivated, you will see an option to activate it. Press ‘Enable’ at the bottom of the screen.
- Once activated, test your voice assistant by simply saying ‘OK Google’, without having connected EyeRide.
On iPhone:
- Go to Settings then Siri and Search.
- Touch Detect, then choose ‘Say Siri’ or ‘Siri’ (depending on what is displayed on your phone).
- Once activated, test your voice assistant by simply saying ‘Say Siri’, without having connected EyeRide.
2. Activate voice control via EyeRide or Smart Controller
There are two ways of doing this:
- Via the Smart Controller: Press and hold the I▷ command.
- Via EyeRide: Press the button in the middle of the external module for 1 second.
3. Check the microphone position and audio kit connection
- Check that the little white arrow on the microphone is pointing towards you. The microphone must be correctly oriented to work. It is specially designed not to be affected by wind while driving.
- Make sure you have connected the audio kit correctly
These actions will enable you to activate the voice command and take full advantage of your EyeRide's functions!
