Just got your Sonix R1 and ready to use it? 🎧
Here’s a practical guide to help you navigate through all the features of your audio kit.
The 📞 button
- Answer a call: When you’re connected and a call comes in, click the button once or do nothing for 10 seconds. The call will automatically be answered with a "Dong, Dong" sound.
- Reject a call: If you don’t want to take the call, hold the button for 2 seconds. A "Dong, Dong" sound will confirm the call has been rejected.
- End a call: To hang up, click the button once. A "Dong" sound will indicate the call has ended.
- Voice dialing: If you’re not on a call, double-click the button. A "Voice Dial" prompt will be heard.
- Play/Pause music: Once connected, click the button once to play or pause your music.
The + button
- Increase volume: During a call or while listening to music, click the button once. You’ll hear a "Di" sound when the maximum volume is reached.
- Skip to the next track: While listening to music, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to skip to the next song. Hold for more than 3 seconds to loop the next track.
The - button
- Decrease volume: Click the button once during a call or while listening to music. A "Di" sound will let you know when the minimum volume is reached.
- Go back to the previous track: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to go back to the previous song. Hold for more than 3 seconds to loop the previous track.
The + and - buttons (simultaneously)
- Clear pairing device: Press both buttons at the same time for 3 seconds, and a "beep" will sound.
Light indicators
- Power on status: If Bluetooth is connected, the blue light will flash once every 6 seconds. If not connected, the blue light will flash twice every 6 seconds.
- Low battery warning: The "Battery Low" sound will play every 60 seconds, and the light will flash red.
- Charging status: The red light stays on during charging and turns off when fully charged.
- Battery status: Upon powering on, a voice prompt will announce the battery level (if full, you’ll hear "Battery Full"; if low, you’ll hear "Low battery please charge").
